  • some question about NXT??

today a detail my car, wash , clean with DP 1, polish with DP 2, for wax i use NXT tech wax liquid, 6 hours in total, but.... the shine of the car is incredible, my mom saw my mustang i said" heyy what you use for the car? is so shine"

    my question(s)
    1) why i need to re waxing the car 12 hours after the first coat??

    2) NXT is very liquid , more that GC liquid, and i take off the wax very very easy, not like CG that is a kind of hard and greasy. is this normal???

    3) can i use nxt on plastic and rubber?/ if not what can i use for the rubber and plastic trim of the EXTIRIOR os the car???

    Re: some question about NXT??

    1. Meguiars recomends 2 coats of wax.

For absolute best looks, some people choose to wait 12 hours inbetween coats. But 15 - 20 minutes is fine as well.

    2. Not quite sure what you mean. Both waxes should be applied thin, then left to dry to a haze, then buffed clean. It is possible that one wax will work better for you than another, but both should be used the same way.

    3. No, Nxt is not for plastic or rubber. You would want ot use one of the many dressings Meguiars makes for that.

Gold Class Trim Detailer is popular, but All Season Dressing, Hyper Dressing, Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner, etc are all good to use.
