IMHO yes! It will surprise you. After you wash your car then clay it, you will not believe all the contaminents the clay will remove from the surface. Well worth it.

                        from a new guy.

I have and use the products that you have listed. Personally, I like the Eagle One NanoWax. I will also agree with TrufflePig with regards to the tire dressing except that I use NXT Insane Tire Shine spray.

As for the clay bar...can't go wrong. Especially with obviously neglected paint. Once you're done with the clay and the "3-Step"...damn. You will love it.

yes! it's nice to get two small bars, rather than one big one and to get a microfiber towel, and cleaner wax is awesome to boot!

likewise, have you done the SR20DET swap or still have the KA24DE? Both are great motors regardless. I got the first generation VQ in my '97 Maxima the VQ30DE, with minor mods.

I've got a half used bottle of Nanowax which I don't envision ever using again. Actually I bought a bottle of Meguiars Gold Class and put the Nanowax away for good, then moved on to NXT and put the Gold Class away for good. So I got a partially full bottle of that too just to show I'm not picking on another company which of course isn't allowed here I guess it's a matter of taste though and if you have a taste for harder to remove products which don't shine all that great I can see you liking the Nano
