Big thanks to everyone. I was working on a black prelude and even #83 was coming off easy. Some spots I really hard to work out but two-three swipes with the Supreme Shine towel and most of the section was clean. Currently sitting in my garage waiting for wax to cure. Going to let it cure for a long time because we are going to Hot Import Nights tomorrow (my friends car) and hes trying to find a lady friend lol.

I just realized something, do products dry up alot faster in the sun? Yesterday I was working on a big truck that wouldnt fit in my garage so I did it on the driveway. Today I was working on a smaller car and did it within the garage. Could that be the issue?

You want to apply all products in the shade on a cool surface, I have found some products can become difficult to work with in the sun thus not giving you the desired results.

Most definitely. As gb387 has mentioned you want things cool to the touch. But even then, I've noticed different behavior from various products when using at temperature extremes. "Extremes" is a relative term of course, since here in SoCal one end of the scale means 110 degrees F and 5% humidity and the other end means 40 degrees F and 75% humidity (not like we ever worry about detailing during a deep freeze around here). Still, even a cool vehicle in a garage can be a bit tricky to work on when the temps in triple digits and the air is dry as a bone. Temp & humidity can affect hazing time of waxes as well, and a very warm surface can cause streaking with some waxes and mist & wipe products too.

Both days were around 50-60 deg. When I did the truck, it was deff warmer because I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. When I did the prelude I was wearing same thing but it was a bit chilly so I took it into the garage.

Even at those temps, if you're working on a dark colored car in direct sunlight versus in the shade, the surface temp will be quite different. It's the surface temp of the vehicle you're working on that's really important.
