Have a new accord and want to protect the glass from acid rain, etc. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Joey

Acid Rain shouldnt hurt glass, but it can still get some hard to remove spots on it.
If you are starting off, you should be in good shape. Just start off washing the car/glass as usual (quality soap, sponges, etc), then clay your glass as you clay your paint. Then use some Nxt Glass Cleaner, and top with RainX, or similar products if you like them.
Just keep that up regularly, like your normal car maintenance, and you'll be fine.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue -
