  • Saddle Soap on leather

I used to use saddle soap on all my leather cars and it seemed to do a good job of cleaning and softening up the leather. Is it O.K. to use saddle soap or am I doing something wrong? It took alot of elbow grease but otherwise seemed to work real good. I noticed that nobody seems to use it anymore.

It is a stronger soap, so like most things, it would probably be better to use milder products first.

      Hi Robert96
i use saddlesoap for my leather seats with a damp cloth as per instructions and I have no problem with it . I'm not aware of it being stronger, you could probaly do more damage using a rough bristle brush to to remove excess dirt than with the saddlesoap itself. it also useful for other leather products you may, which is what i also use it for.
