I'm just about to start detailing and I'm about to place my big online order. I would like to hear suggestions. I am hoping to spend under $200. So far I already have:

Anything that is completely neccesary that I missed? Any better suggestions? I just randomly picked these things based on my slight knowledge that I've learned from this forum. TIA

A couple things that are totally up to you may be #81 hand polish, a few more applicator pads. Depending on whether or not you are doing the interior you may want to get some APC, or Meg's carpet cleaner. In addition maybe some Plastix for your headlights, tailights, and console lens. Just some suggestions.

You also can't go wrong with ScratchX.

Can you explain why to swap #81 for #7?

Because #81 is a LOT easier to use(remove) than #7!!!!!!!!!!! Trust us here.

I use APC for most interior cleaning.

D-10101 All Purpose Cleaner

Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner is ideal for reconditioning all interior surfaces. The superior foaming action gently lifts the dirt away while its unique blend of fabric softeners and optical brighteners enhance the look and feel of carpet, upholstery, vinyl and even leather.

Great performance and value. This is a concentrate that makes up to 11 gallons of cleaner. I dilute 1:5 but you can do a 10:1. It works great and the price is outstanding.

BTW, The D12001 Glass Cleaner I mentioned also is a concentrate. It makes up to 12 gallons of cleaner at the recommended 1:11 ratio. I get equally good results at 1:20. I find that this glass cleaner is excellent around the house on windows and mirrors too.
