  • applicator pads....

    I have a question..what is the difference between micro fiber and foam applicator pads other than material? what do you guys use or suggest to use with #7,#80,NXT wax?? thanks

    The foam pads let you apply pressure, to work a product in. The MF pads are more for products that are spread and wiped.

    Spray Waxes and Spray Detailers are good with the pads, and I think some people wax with them.

    You would want to work in the paint cleaners, polish, etc. with the foam.

      At some level it's personal preference.

      Meguiar's recommends our microfiber applicator pads for applying paint care products but you can use the foam applicator's also, it's just personal preference. The foam applicators are very useful for applying dressings to seats and other interior components, for example a vinyl dressing to a door panel or a leather dressing to the face of a leather seat.

      Both are washable and re-usable.
