TW Cleaner Wax..Big Mistake!!

hello..newbie here..

used tw cleaner wax 2 weeks ago..live in boston..tons of snow and salt...the wax is basically gone from the car..need the car to look good this weekend..limited supplies..

meg gold class wash
megs gold class wax liquid
megs detailer
megs wheel cleaner

can i top the gc wax over whatevers left of the tw cleaner wax...and should i have topped the cleaner wax with another wax to begin with when it cured???

oh yeah..my car is the exact car on the left (not my image!)..what wax would really bring out the color for graphite gray..is gold class better on darker cars like mine?

Two weeks and the wax is gone? Talk about crud. My car lasted a month through salt and snow...

Anyways, is there a reason you need a cleaner wax? Swirls, oxidation, scratches???
If you don't have any of the problems listed above, then there is no reason to use a cleaner wax.

I would try to find some ScratchX and use that on some of the problems.

I'm not a big fan of cleaner waxes, so I wouldn't use them until you can get the materials together to remove the problems instead of using a cleaner wax.

To answer your questions: Yes, you can top the cleaner wax with GC. It probably would have been to apply two coats of wax during the harsh weather.

Personally, I would wash and apply two coats of GC. That should last you a while. If you need something to last you a bit longer, NXT wax is really nice.
