Went shopping this morning

While I was checking things out at O'Reillys, I noticed they didn't have any Hyper Dressing or Safe D Greaser. So this morning when I went to get a hair cut, I remembered there was a paint supply store near the barber shop. I really didn't expect them to have the products, but thought they might point me in the right direction. If I had been careless walking into the store I would have ran right into the Megquiar's Pro shelf. It was the first thing as I went in the door. However they didn't have either product either. So I had them order me a gallon of each, along with a couple of labeled spray bottles, They said they would have them in on Friday.
Then I went to O'Reillys.
I bought the following Meguiar's products:

1. Water Magnet
2. Drying Towel
3. Quick Detailer
4. Quick Interior Detailer
5. Quick Spray Wax (the Quick items had coupon for $5 rebate w/purchase of 3 items)
6. Scratch X
7. Car Wash
8. Detailer Clay System
9. Tire Foam (this was on sale 2 for 1)

I also got a bottle of Rain X, a package of micro fiber cloths, a pack of terry cloths, a soft wheel brush and a replacement antenae mast.

This isn't all I am going to need, but it's a good start on it.

nice little start you got there! speaking of shopping... i was at kragen yesterday, and found the old square even coat microfiber applicators (have now been replaced with the round ones) on clearance for $1.68 each (package of two), so i bought the two they had left!

That is a nice little list you have going.... I haven't looked at O'Reillys lately but they never have had the products you listed, I will have to give them a try again.

Even the dollar store has some Meguiar's products. Picked up a Gold Class chenile wash pad for $3. Also a knock off of the Mr. Clean Magic Ereaser for $1.50 for a package of 2 and MF super sponge for $2.50.

I've been buying a lot of Meguiar's online and locally, to the point where my wife will probably take away my credit card. She's probably not on to this PayPal thing though.

I wanted to try #80 on my new vehicles and perhaps #83 for my daughters older Corolla. I just ordered them through AutoDetailingSolutions.com in 12-oz. sampler bottles. They are actually packaged in the Meguar's dispensing bottles, which I'll want anyway if I decide to buy them in larger sizes next time. Ordered and extra dispenser bottle for use with my 64-oz. of #21.

Oreilly's used to carry all the pads and everything in their warehouse so I could get it the same day, now they have to order them and said it could take 2 weeks and their warehouse is just down the street. I just buy my stuff at a professional paint and body shop in the area, they can get me anything I need the same day.
