  • What is the best Meguiars Microfiber towel on the market for drying cars???

I recently just discovered the amazing invention that is the Microfiber towel.

I grew up washing cars 2 and 3 times a week for 18 years with my father. He certainly worked hard, but didn't use the best techniques and products using nothing but discarded old cotton bathtowels and Joy soap.

I used a Microfiber towel for the first time in my life yesterday and about fell over in amazement at how awesome they are! I purchased two Microfiber towels from my local Target (VROOM) and just used them. The biggest thing that amazed me apart from their ability to **** up a tremendous amount of water was the ability to lift it without smearing water all over the paint!

I can't tell you how many swirl marks I already put on my car just washing it 3-4 times using those old cotten towels, rubbing and rubbing trying to get that streaky water dry.

Long story short, I would like everyone's opinion on what they feel is THE Microfiber towel for the sole purpose of drying my car after washing. Thanks!

I use the Water Magnet and love it. I also have two Target Vroom brand drying towels and love those. I use both when I dry my truck.

I like Meguiars MF's for drying. The water magnets seem to leave a better finish though.

Are there any inherent advantages or superiority in using the Waffle Weave towels versus the normal ones?

I have heard Meguairs has some of the best towels, but I have also seen pakshack as well as Cobra branded towels tossed around.

I was just curious if any members here have had the opportunity to use other well known branded towels other than Meguiars, and which they preferred the best and why.

I have always wanted to try a Pakshack but havent yet. The WW towels seem to be more absorbent than the regular ones. I use the WW two get most of the water on my truck and then follow up with the Vroom one. Let us know what you end up with and how you like it.
