  • Foam Pad / Velcro Separation

I ordered the MeGuiar's soft buff 7006 maroon pad and used it with my PC 7424 along with #83. The first use was 1/2 of my car with no problems. I had some 'Snappy Wash' pad cleaner that came with another pad kit I ordered, so I used it as per directions to clean the maroon pad, as well as an orange pad I also used. 1 oz of cleaner in 2 gallons water for 15 minutes then rinse.

The next day the orange pad was fine, but the maroon pad separated from the Velcro after the other 1/2 of my car. This was the second use.

The orange pad was not MeGuiars, the maroon pad was. I called MeGuiars and they were VERY helpful in offering to send me a replacement free of charge. The rep also advised I not use any moisture on the pad. I was very happy with the service!

Thanks MeGuiars. It has always been a pleasure using your products and now I see customer service was just fine.

I agree. Megs customer service is at least a couple of steps ahead of the rest. Just another reason to use megs.
