    Re: Rain-x

The RainX window treatment is definately good stuff. I use it on top of the Nxt Glass Cleaner all the time.

As far as their glass cleaners, soaps, etc, never tried them.

Incidently, you might want to browse over at autodetailingsolutions.com for your Meguairs needs and wants. I can get stuff there at the same price or cheaper than going to the store, even with shipping. And they'll have everything.

          Re: Rain-x

I bought some of that rain x that comes in that applicator bottle, the wipe and swipe, and i put it on after cleaning my windows but when i tried to wipe it off it left me with a hazy window. So i tried to to buff it out again and again an again so then i tried with a damp towel but no luck, it didnt seem to want to, why? I am thinking of buying the window wax next and see if that is better, any specific type of rain x product you would recommend?

I only use the usual RainX bottle... says to let it haze, then buff off....

                Re: Rain-x

I have a bottle of rainX that is a few years old, the intructions say to apply one coat and let it dry to a haze, then apply another coat before buffing off, sprinkling water on the glass as you are buffing with a paper towel. The fine spray of water seems to make a real difference, I find if I don't do that it stays hazy.

Its a bit tricky to apply, so im going to try the rain x window wax. Its suppose to be easier.

                        Re: Rain-x

Their stuff is really good. I only use the regular window stuff, and it's true you have to make sure you apply it exactly how it says to or else it won't work as effectively.

Living in seattle it practically rains everyday from september to june, and I can honestly that this stuff definitely saves me money on windsheild wipers since I don't use them near as much with rain-x on my windshield.

Make sure your applying it right and it should work great. You shouldn't have to go to other products of theirs in order to get the results your looking for.

                          Re: Rain-x

usually when i apply the rainX on my car or others, i keep rubbing it in until there is as little haze as possible, that way when i have to buff it out, its a lot easier and the result seems to be the same and following the instructions on the bottle.

Why don't you try Klasse All In One on your windshield istead of Rain X?
Rain X attracks dust like a magnet, Klasse AIO doesn't.
                            AIO beads water pretty well.

                              Jarred,

I've always assumed I was applying it as the manufacturer says, but you wouldnt mind saying what process you use? I am sure you have the most experience with it.
