  • 4 inch pads?

Does anyone know of a good place to get 4 inch buffing pads for a G100, or a good brand of pads? Also, where could the backing plate be purchased? I have had several requests to detail motorcycles and I want to be able to buff them. I don't see why Meguiar's doesn't offer these!

    Thanks!

    Lydia,

I believe autogeek.net has what you're looking for. I've bought quite a bit of product from them in the past and always had good service.

I get 4" pads from bettercarcare.com. They have backing plates for both DA and rotary polishers.

Patrick from ExcelDetail.com has very nice 3.5" flexible backing plates. Also, he has good selection of 4" pads. AutoGeek, CMA, and Danase sell Lake Country 4" pads of CSS design. They also have 3.5" backing plates but it is design ExcelDetail carries that I prefer.

Furthermore, you can use Cyclo pads as 4" pads. They can end up cheaper than "regular" pads. WCDetail.com carries them in great prices for pairs.
