Scratched windshield on 02 tracker i need help please

Hi all again i now have another problem that i coul really use some help with please. I know i have read alot about not being able to fix a scratched windshield but i wasn't sure if that had anything to do with the depth of the scratch was hoping maybe just a scuffed one could be fixed the problem is on my mothers black 2002 tracker she had someone to clean it for her and when they did they used a scrubber pad (the one like you use for dishes) on the windshield now it is all scuffed looking is there anything that i can do to fix it for her? (besides buying her a new windshield)

You would need to do a search on google for Westwood Glass Products.... I dont know if anyone around here has used it.
