Hello all, I didnt know whether to post this here or some other place, but i wanted to get a professionals point of view on this matter. I'm getting my black car "compounded" (polished) tomorrow by the dealership (BMW) I have lots of "swirls" and "holograms" on my car from the daily usage of drive thru car washes (winter is rough around here).....looking at my car after washing on a sunny day really brings out the swirls and holograms......
What shall I expect from the procedure and How will I know they didn't just put wax on my car to cover up the fine swirl marks on my car. I will wash it again and hope most of (if not all) all the swirls are completely gone.
I don't know what compound they are using but they informed me that they use compounds to get rid of fine swirls on the clear coat.....
please provide input.....
thank you....
