Ok we just bought this 2002 Trailblazer 3 days ago and we got it at such a great deal (fully loaded with everything, low miles and way below book value) that we blew off the scuffs and scatches but now they are driving me nuts because it is such a beautiful color and i just want to see it scratch free...My husband has a cousin who is a body man but he has worked on a car for us before (painted it) and to me he ruined it the job he did was horrible he likes to drink when he is working for family and he gets to much in him and just does a really shotty job
any i have taken a few pictures of the scratches and scuffs that i have seen hoping that someone can give me some advice. I will be doing this myself (no hubby involved with this job) by hand i won't even attempt a
never used one and would be afraid to start now. There is also a scuff on the painted bumper that i didn't get a pic of because my batteries went dead
I don't see any chips anywhere on it just like i said scratches and scuffs or rub marks whatever you call them to be it looks like they where to close to something and it rubbed all the way down the passenger side of it.
This is the big streak or scuff that goes all the way down the passenger side even on the bumper it is not rough just and doesn't feel scratched it feels smooth

Here is a weird looking spot that looks like it almost has something on it like candy but it isn't it is realy rough

This is a real small little white marked it looks almost like someone hit it with a little white paint brush because it isn't rough it is smooth

This is a small scratch on the drivers door and i can feel a small bump or snag when i run my fingernail over it

These next two pics are of the scratch on the hood i ran my fingernail over it and it doesn't feel deep at all but you can feel a small snag in it

What can i do to get this car looking good again without the ugly scratches in it? Also what can i do for the alloy wheels anything?
