Hi guys, a couple of quick qestions about washing.

After washing my car and using the chamios, i notice a white haze over the car which can feel slightly ruff. This is just a week after waxing and it felt like glass back then. What could be some of the causes of this?

Is it also better to use less, than too much shampoo?

not to sure what the white haze could be.

try claying your finish and cleaning it up and then paint clean/polish/wax. see what the results are.

did you clay?

in terms of soap, use as directed on bottle. measured amounts for best results. that's what works for me.

more is not always better.

Also possibly try using meguiars Water Magnet Drying Towel. I just switched from a Chamois to the Water Magnet and the difference is amazing. I never really got a haze with a chamois, but the water magnet seems safer on the paint.

Is it a new chamois or has it been used a lot. I found when using a chamois, they only lasted so long before you needed to get a new one because of particles and dirt that tend to get trapped in them.
