  • Clear Bra on black paint???

How obvious is it on a black car? A friend is considering one due to rock chips. Would you all recommend one?

Its pretty obvious when a vehicle has a clear bra on it. Even if it is black paint. You should be able to see/feel the edges of the bra and easily tell the difference between the surfaces.

Unfortunately, rock chips are obvious as well. Tough call.

Here's a pic of a black Viper that I did with a clear bra. The dividing line is noticeable, but not the bra itself.

I use a LeBra on my car. And it doesn't leave a white haze under it either. All I do is apply NXT Tech Wax in the paste form under it.

I was also thinking about getting a clear bra for my cars.

I just got a new Outback and put a clear bra on it. Car is dark green. Yes, I know the bra is there but it doesn't look bad. I've got four other vehicles ranging from one month to one year old and I'm thniking of putting clear bra on them too. You can always take the bra off, but the rock chips are there until you repaint.

I have a clearbra on my G35. It is obvious how well it does its job when I see my wife's 325 parked next to it in the garage. My front end is immaculate while hers without a clearbra is covered in dings.

We do lots of cars with full hoods and fenders now since it eliminates those lines.
