  • question regarding machine polishing/waxing

    Hey gang,

I have a off brand, 1 speed, 10" random oribital buffer I used for waxing in the past. I use plain 100% terry cloth bonnets for applying and buffing.

So, do you think this will work okay with #80 and for wax say #26 or #21? I dont really know if I can achieve the miracles I see on other threads with this setup but it must be better than polishing/waxing by hand right?

    Thoughts?

    TIA!

some of the older guys will hopefully chime in on this and give a better tale.

but personally speaking, no one i'd wax my paint's finish with a terry towel.

MF Applicator or those yellow applicator pads only. the Terry towels are just to rough i think for the finish and can drag something across finish which you don't want.

if i was in your shoes, i would do it by hand and then invest in a PC G-100.
