  • Help! NEW truck Scratches

I just bought a new 04 Toyota Tundra Double cab pick-up. But some CLOWN at the dealership waxed it for there new car show in town. I don't know what happened but now there are Micro scratches in the paint! It's not that bad, and the truck looks good but if you get close enough and at the right angle in the light there all over the place. What should I use? Will deep crystal take them out? Sorry if this is not in the right forum but it's my first post here. Thanks for you time and help!!!!!!

Will dealer fix?? Or would you rather fix them yourself?

I had similar dealership woes. The idiots used one of those duster dealies on the car and it was not pretty. I sadly did not notice the scratches until it was too late. You should ask the dealer to fix them as a courtesy(to ensure your future business), if he refuses you have a great deatailing opportunity.
I sometimes judge people by the cleanliness of their car.

If you can trust them. I feel some dealerships are learning of repeat business and how important it really is.

Personally, I wouldn't let the stealer, oops, dealer touch it again. They have already showed you what the guy in the back that is making barely over minimum wage can do to make your car look "better." Take it on yourself or find a good detailer to do it for you. If you hunt some of the detailing sites, you can surely find someone around you that can take care of you.

I was real pissed when I bought my mach 1, the paint was fine when I looked at it on the showroom floor.. they "detailed" it, as in scratched up the hood stripe and a few other places.

On top of the fact my car has alot of orange peel as well
