  • Wax Question

I just took a look at my wax, it's Meguiars Gold Class Wax. and it's been in the garage for about 3 months. i opened the can and the wax is cracked and broken in to pieces. I'm wondering if this is normal and is it still safe to use on my car? The temperatures where i live have been varying greatly lately, about 30 degree - 70 degrees F.

By the way all Hi! First post had another account but i was just a lurker with it.

    Re: Wax Question

Welcome to the posting side of the forum!

I am guessing that it's paste wax. It should be fine. You tend to get cracks and sometimes bubbles in it. Just wipe your applicator pad on it and wax away. And remember thin coats. If your still not sure if it is good, post a photo of it.

Just a note, you do not want any of your detailing supplies to freeze.

Same here, because if his Gold Class Liquid looked like that he'd have some serious issues!! Hmmmm, then again, even that might still work. Maybe.

But I concur with BlueZero - go ahead and use it.
