  • Fixing a scuffed rim

I was parking yesterday and I got a little to close to the curb and I scuffed one of my rims. I would like to fix it, and I know that some sanding is in order but what else should I be aware of, and on the outlook for?

Here is a link to a photo of the damage so that you can see what it is I'm dealing with "Rim Damage"

Wurth paint if it is "German junk" as I call it. I had a link on how to repair curb rush, but I lost it. I remember it involves using bondo like filler, sanding and applying Wurth stuff.

If I were you, I would just get a local wheel repair guy to repaint it.

In Toronto, it's $125 for polished wheels and $100 if not polished. I tried this guy twice and I could not tell the difference afterward.

Toronto is a little far north but thanks for the thoughts, I will look into it

You can probably a local shop who can repaint your wheel.

This one was referred by my dealership.

                Re: Fixing a scuffed rim

I just scuffed a rim on my (wait till I cry) 3 month old Accord.

I am in Oakville, can you tell me who you used, in Toronto?

                Cheers.

To buy all that is needed on the other site it comes out to be less then $50.00. It does not seem that complicated.
