I kinda feel bad for some of you. The winters here have changed. It used to get pretty cold. Its 46 right now and about an hour ago, I did a rinse off on my dark drive way. In the garage now just about finished washing. I think spring is here. Sorry guys, I just couldn't live with the salt. FWIW, it was in the mid teens a couple weeks ago.

My mother is visiting from Michigan this week (her 80th birthday was Tuesday!!) and today we went down to the Balboa Pier for lunch. This is on the Newport Peninsula and there were young women laying on the beach, wearing bikinis and working on their tans. Temp was 78 degrees F. My mom was just stunned. Gorgeous day today in beautiful SoCal.

I really feel for you guys in the frozen north. I grew up in that stuff and there's no way in heck I could ever go back.

I had salt on top of salt on my car until I got to washing it last week. I've been keeping a nice coat of wax on my car since I lasted clayed in late June and it was still nice and smooth under all that junk. In the winter though, it's not so bad if it doesn't snow or get warm enough to melt the snow, then the roads stay dry and the car won't get as dirty as fast.
