  • Chrome wheels cleaning

I just bought a set of chrome plated Z06 wheels for my C6 Corvette. Does anyone have any tips about how to clean them and preserve the chrome finish for as long as possible?

    Thanks.

    Re: Chrome wheels cleaning

using a special chrome wheel cleaner will help in this job. also be sure to dry your wheels thoroughly after washing to prevent spotting, and ehen your wheels start to look faded, polish them using NXT All Metal Polish.

    Hope This Helps

Apply eagle one neverdulll wadding polish to a clean wheel , let haze , then wipe off with a clean m/f. Then i would top it with #21 or your favorite LSP..thats what gives the chrome i work on a showroom shine.

...I have the stock Chrome on my 07 Vette and I was wondering the same thing. I had a concern that there was a clearcoat on them and using to harsh of a cleaner or a metal polish would ruin that? Any thoughts? I couldn't find any facts about the wheels...
