  • DA Polisher and the metal polish

    Hi,

Just one question. Can I use my pc and tha Meguiars Metal Polish for polishing chrome parts? (or should I get a Polishing Ball?)

If yes, what pad should I take?

    Thanks

Re: DA Polisher and the metal polish

Usually chrome doesn't need to be polished, just wiped down. However, if yours does I would say of course a DA could be used. If it is big and flat I would say the DA is your best choice. Use a finishing pad (Meguiar's W-9006). If you're polishing wheels or something similar, I would use a PowerBall Mini. The DA just isn't going to get into the nooks and crannies like the much smaller PowerBall will. Post pics before and after.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
