How to fix scratch in Mercedes Benz woodgrain?

I'm detailing a black MB CLK430 this weekend. He's a regular customer of mine. It has gray woodgrain on the dash and center console. There is a scratch in the woodgrain on the center console.

Any ideas on the best way to attack the woodgrain?

i have used 80 by hand and believe it or not followed it with 40 and all the wood turns out great. the clear on the wood is soft ,so the 80 takes out the scratches and the 40 seems to polish the shine up.
