I'm sure this has been asked before, but I was wondering if freezing will effect my detailing supplies. They are kept in my garage where they normally don't freeze, but we have had a week of sub zero temps and everything is frozen solid. I have a myriad of products frozen including: Quick Wheel Detailer, Quick Detailer, Quick Interior Detailer, Natural Shine, Trim Shine, & Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner. I hope the freezing does not hurt the active ingredients of the products. The waxes and pastes seem alright. Thanks for any input you may have.

Re: Frozen goods?????
From past experience, you can pretty much kiss most of your stuff good-bye. Freezing will cause the ingredients to separate and not mix properly again. Your mileage may vary.
Good luck.I'm getting bugged driving up and down the same old strip

Re: Frozen goods?????
I had that happen to me last winter.. Some of products were okay after they thawed but others serperated that I could shake them until I was blue in the face and they would not go back.
Its almost the same as letting ice cream that and trying to re-freeze it. Just does not happen.

I was afraid they might be ruined. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I brought them inside to let them thaw. I hope the Quick Wheel Detailer is okay, I haven't even tried that yet!2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L (RES/NAVI)

Re: Frozen goods?????
You realize that you'll need to buy another, unfrozen, bottle of Quick Detailer in order to compare your thawed bottle?
Since you have never used it, your thawed Detailer's performance could have been severely compromised and you would neber know.

Re: Frozen goods?????
Although the ingredients are not listed on the container, you can probably safely assume that water is probably one of the main ingredients. Even if not, liquids or pastes should not be stored outside in cold climates.
Personally I make it a practice to remove all containers from my garage that contain liquids in mid October - mid April. Heck even in Arizona we know that it can get cold.I'm getting bugged driving up and down the same old strip

Luckily stuff was slushy, not frozen, and seems to have re-mixed fine.I'm getting bugged driving up and down the same old strip
