  • Billet metal polishing

I have a Billet fuel door on my Mustang that used to have a mirror finish. Looks like some inconsiderate person(s) have scratched it. Some are minor surface scratches some are a bit deeper. Any suggestions on how to restore it like new and how I want it to look??

Are those things clearcoated or bare metal?

If it's straight aluminum, then in order to remove a scratch you'll have to remove all the aluminum surrounding the scratch in an effort to level the surface till it's flat.

What it means to remove a scratch out of anything...

Probably easier and faster to just buy a new one...
