    Those of you that wax by pc...

    do you use seperate pads for different wax? I've been following this rule with cleaner/polish. I've got a finishing pad that has been used with GC liquid, but not a whole lot. Just wondering if I use some #16 on the same pad or even #21, if it will give poor results.

    I use #21 and Nxt High Tech Wax. So far, I have not used seperate pads for both. I do, however clean the 9006 pads between uses by soaking them in warm water and dish washing liquid, squeezing out the imbedded product and rinsing completely.

    If I were topping #21 or Nxt imediately with #16, I would not use the same pad.

    If I didn't wash my pads after every use, I would use different pads for each product.

      I think it is best to use separate pads for every product that you use whether paint cleaner, polish or wax to get maximum results.

          Yes you definitely do not want to use the pads if you have not cleaned them. If you clean them in between, then you should have no problem.

            For the cost of the pads, I find it easier and more efficient to have a pad for each product...makes the process go faster...IMHO

                Thanks for all of the opinions! I have a case of polishing pads coming so I'll have them on hand. Just wanted to know how most of you went about it. Longevity is most definitely a consideration. Thanks again.
