Some pople top a synthetic with a carnuba, some dont. Its one of those things where some pople can see a difference, some cant.

The thing to do is do a section of your hood, or different panels differently, and see what looks best for you.

The machine will go faster, save your arms, spread products thinner, and allow you to remove some defects easier. So that is the big things...

      cheers.
thanks for that link and the advice.

The local store I bought my Meguiars from carries 2 orbital buffers

One for $30 which is a 12v model with random orbit polishing action and comes with 1 toweling and 1 finishing bonnet. Must be a battery operated job.
Then there is a a $60 model which runs of the 240v mains, adjustabe handles, 4.5metre power cord.

Not much of a choice here.

What also is a popular choice locally is the qvc 900w grinder, sander and polisher

Can do up to 11,000 rpm

Flanno, those polishers in H .... are complete rubbish. The PC or a Flex from Germany (expensive) are the only orbital ones worth having. Otherwise it's elbow grease!
