    figgek,
Sorry to hear of the troubles that you are having. It may be a little bit cold for the products as they are not formulated to be used below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. I have seen where our products can have difficulties drying (and streaking) when used in colder temperatures. Also, what are you using to remove the products with? If you aren't using Micro fiber then that's something else I would recommend as Micro fiber can lift 2-3 times as much as you average terry towel. I hope that information is helpful...

          Hey,

Have you tried spraying the paint with a Quik Detailer to see if it removes the streaks? Does that work? Are you using a foam or terry cloth applicator? I bet you are using the cotton applicator?

If so, here is what I want you to try, apply the DC#1 to a small area, 45cm x 45cm, and really work the product into the paint using a clean foam applicator pad. Once the product has been worked in, take a clean MF towel and wipe off the residue. I will bet that will solve your streaks! Also, when washing the towels, do not add fabric softener to the wash. That can cause the towels to streak.

Give that a try and report back!

I was using a foam applicator not meguiars.
I do not have any quick detailer product yet but have got two High Tech Applicator Pad and three supreme shine microfiber.
Must I start with quick detailer??? I thought that If I was washing the car with NXT Generation Car Wash carefully and then started with DC#1 was enough? is the quick detailer stronger than dc#1 to clean the surface?

              Hey,

No you do not need to use a Quik Detailer after washing and before detailing. I only suggested that in order to see how the streaks reacted to the QD.

A QD is a final wipe down product that removes light dust and finger prints. It is not a cleaner. So you need to use the DC#1 first. You can also try using ColorX in place of the DC#1.

Even after a good wash, the application of DC#1 is not a wipe on wipe off product. Hence the reason to apply and remove it to a small area at one time. Like I said 45cm x 45cm. Give that a try and then report back.

Remember whenever you're working with cleaners and polishes under extreme conditions you want to shrink the size of your work area down and wipe off your products immediately.
