  • Car Washing Sponge

I dropped by ACE Hardware just now and came across this sponge:

I feel that it's soft enough even when it's dry, so I bought it and wish to have a try. In your opinion, do you think that it's safe for my paint? Generally, I won't use for lower body, afraid of dirt trapped inside the sponge. Thanks!

I never felt comfortable using a sponge. I always got swirls with them so I only use sheepskin wash mitts. I recycle the mitts about every 3 months. The older mitts do the lower body panels and the oldest mitts do the fender wells.

I use to use a sponge. Now I use a sponge mage from the same material like the terry towel's.
