Has anybody tried the mr clean auto dry system? If so can you use your own car wash like gc shampoo and deep crystal car wash?

If you search just about any discussion forum you'll find 2 categories of people, those who like it and those who don't.
The biggest thing some people don't like is it can leave a film they see on their glass, but if you think about it, if it's leaving a film on the glass it's likely leaving a film on everything.
Best thing to to would be to buy it and try it and make up your own mind. -

The auto dry is ok. The only thing I didn't like about the auto dry is that when you put the setting on for spot free rinse it come's out slow. And it take's awhile to get the car rinsed off.Originally posted by SUBARU WRX View PostComment

I have one and love it. If you use the included wash it WILL leave a film. Nasty if you ask me. Use whatever carwash you prefer, wash your car as normal, rinse as normal, then use the Auto Dry to spray down the car. Spot free every time.
I've washed my black Patrol car several times in the morning. As the sun was starting to really shine down, I sprayed down the car on the spot free setting and viola, no spots when everything dried.
The thing to remember is wash and rinse exactly like you have always done. There is no reason to change that portion of the process. But instead of breaking out the drying towel, reach for the Auto Dry on spot free setting and give it a spray. Takes less than 2 minutes and you won't be disappointed.A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Did a lot of research on this when it first came out and it really was about a 50/50 mix of people that liked it and hated it, best thing to do is to give it a try and find out for yourself.Comment
