    Does a PC 7336 need any modification?

    I'm about to purchase a Porter Cable 7336, & I heard from someone that I'd need to do some modifications to use it for car detailing.
    Is this true?
    Will it fit all the Megs pads?

    Any other comments about the PC 7336 are appreciated.

    You just need to order the meg's backing plate and change it with the one on there. thats all.

      If the polisher doesn't have a Velcro backing plate, then you need one of these. Other than that you need pads. A lot of people don't use the handle and in some situations it could possible be run into the paint and scratch the paint, so after get it, try it with the handle and without the handle and see which way you prefer.
