  • Are there better smelling ineterior protectants/cleaners than Interior Quick Detailer

I like using interior QD, it does a good job.

Although it doesn't smell bad by any means, I just want to use something that smells awesome (like Hyperdressing).

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

      I like the smell too.

I'm looking for more of an apropriate interinor cleaner/protectant though.

Try the NXT Tech Protectant. Good stuff.

Keep in mind that the Interior QD is not really a protectant, but rather what it's name implies - a quick detailer, similar to quick detailers for the paint. No protection, just a nice lubricant for easy dusting that leaves a nice finish.

Personally, I'd rather have my car smell like QID than smell like I broke a bottle of grape juice in there (IIRC Hyper Dressing smells like grape).

For a protectant, the Water Based Dressing in the Detailer line is great stuff too. Short of ordering it from ADS (Rick offers it in a 32 ounce spray bottle), you'll have to buy a whole gallon, but it's good stuff.

High gloss straight, satin diluted 1:1, and it has a light tropical smell to it.

It's even usable on leather if that's a concern in your interior. It's my new favorite toy, frankly.

I don't remember the hyper dressing's smell, but you could try 3M's vinyl and leather cleaner/restorer. it has a fresh lemon scent and it's good

Maybe the meguiar's chemist will add something to make it smell better, but yes I have to agree that it does clean well.

What do you guys put over the top of it for vinyl, plastic or leather protection in terms of a quick wipe? Maybe like quick leather wipes?

Why not just use Hyper-Dressing in the car as well then?

Just give a quick wipedown with diluted APC first if cleaning is needed.
