Why don't you compare them? You can gain more experience.
Well to start off, things are a little tight money wise. I would rather get the right pads to start with and later on I can try out others.
I find it rather difficult to find things here. It is easy for those that live in the US as they just have to read here what is good etc and go out and buy it.
But when you have to find an alternative its hard to try and work out whats the best.
Even Meg's Australia don't have the products Meg's US does. For instance Meg's Aust only stock the one pad which is the 8006, when I rang them I was told we don't need them?
I find it really hard to believe all that happened so fast with just plain ground water. Either there was something really bad in it or something else is very wrong. We have pretty hard water and all the spots just wipe away with some QD.
If ground water = untreated water, I would expect it. Who knows what kinds of minerals are in it? Here in Cody, Wyoming, some residences have untreated water for irrigation ( I actually have a canal running through my property) while others use treated city water for sprinkling.
I avoid ALL sprinklers, whether they are on or off like the plague.
The ground water here is used for irrigation, we call it bore water. You can't drink it and depending on where you live, the water from some bores has a very strong unpleasant smell.
If you left your car on the lawn while the sprinklers were on it would turn a very rusty looking color after awhile (1-2 weeks).
The amount of minerals varies from suburb to suburb, I live about 4 k's (2 mile?) away and my reticulation is not nearly as bad.
