  • new start.....

after using the dual action polisher for quite a while now,i thought it would be nice to move to the next step,a new challenge,so today i bought a rotary.
after a long search, vieuwing a couple of 100 models from different makes,i decided to buy the red "flex" rotary, overhere recommended by sonax, one the the leading brands of car care in europe.
the machine was designed and produced in germany, and that means normally, that it is well made, and should last for years.
i also thought about a makita, but i got a better deal on this one, because our company is a dealer of this machines, but it was not a very cheap tool.with discount,i still had to pay about $370.
i know meg's machines are a bit cheaper overthere, but we cannot use them, because we have a different voltage overhere.
this evening i tried it on my porsche, with the meg's polishing pad,on the lowest speed setting, with next.
    this is FAST.but i think i have to train a while,to master this machine,complete.
if you're not used to it,it seems that when you start it up,it come to life, and goes it's own way.
    i have to be patient,read a lot,and practice often.this is not in my character,but i want to achieve perfection,so i know i have to be profesional,and practice a lot,and keep my temper.
if any body has need to know tips for rotary newbies,i'll be glad to hear them from you.

for now,i keep my faith, and let the meguiar's force guide me(hihi)

    ciao,

    Rick

          well,scrub....

i'm not famous for my patience, and when i have something on my mind,it will happen.
i think for now the machine has it's secrets for me,but in a whole,i'm going to find out how,and why,and that is the key to our relationship.(hihi).
          i searched for the video,but i didn't find it yet.but i'll ask meg's David how i can order it.
tomorrow i'll be in my garage, working on my new skills.
hope it will come out right, otherwise i have to contact a painter.
          ciao,
          Rick
