Ok so I want to use these products with a 7424 with a 8006 pad to remove slight scratchs. How lond do I work the prduct for before I wipe it off? I am working 2x2 area as well. Thanks.

In most cases, when working a 2x2 area, you can usually make 2-3 passes in at least 2 directions, for sure 2 passes in 2 directions, M80 is a much wetter product, while M83 is less wet, so you lose some lubricity faster with M83 and this makes it harder to buff longer.
Buff 2-3 passes in at least 2-3 directions, like the diagram in the How To forum.
That should be adequate for this product and what you're trying to accomplish, if the surface defects are not removed to your satisfaction, then wipe the surface clean, add fresh product and begin again.
