I've got a Ridgid wet/dry as well and it works GREAT for cleaning up the interior and my garage or any other job that I have for it.

I really like the look of the compact rigid model. I am going to have to make it over to HD or Lowes.

I like the smaller hose, and small attachments, as that is my main problem is hard to reach areas.

go to HD as ridgid product are exclusive to them. also forgot to mention... all their wet/dry vacs carry a LIFETIME WARRANTY , iirc...

FWIW, I have heard that the some if not all Sears wet/dry vacs are made by Ridgid. They do have a 5hp compact that looks very similar to the Ridgid. Not the "Tool Box" one, the regular one.

I have a pretty basic decent sized wet/dry shopvac, that gets the job done for me.

I have found that this little 1 gallon hang up shop-vac is very well suited for the job, and most importantly it doesnt cause hearing loss! The accessories make getting into the tough spots a cinch.

i have a sweet Eureka Central Vac in my garage. i covered the hose with this hose cover thingie and got all these fancy attachments with it.

                  works like a charm.

i also have THE SHARK for quickies. does pretty good.

Sears are not made by Ridgid. Home depot bought Emerson, the company that used to make all of the Craftsman stationary products and shop-vac's, years ago. Most of Craftsman is now imported to increase margin. The Ridgid has a lifetime warranty on every tool they sell, that includes shop-vac's, stationary tools, and cordless tools. Best product out there for the money in my opinion. My 18 volt Ridgid Drill outperforms my Dewalt by a good margin. Anyway, I highly recommend the Ridgid. Good luck

I use to have one of those, but the impeller(i guess thats what its called?) came off the motor. stripped plum out.

I ended up getting a 5 gallon shop vac from walmart. Its not to loud and it does what I need it to do just fine.
