What is the best product that can be used on the outside molding of a car? I know Meguiars has the Gold Class Trim Detailing. I need something that won't run after it rain's.

go with #38 works great and leves a great looking finish. after you apply it you need to wipe the excess off with a clean towel.

Just used #38 for the first time... I applied it as 2hotford had mentioned, use a foam applicator to apply let it set then wipe off. I will say this applies much easier than the GC Trim Detailer. It also seems to give a slightly better look over the GC, its not as "plasticy" looking. #38 is the way to go, I will have

I like #40. Apply, let it sit and buff dry.
