  • New or old ScratchX

When I took the class in Irvine with Mike, he had just tried the new ScratchX formulation a few times and had questions reservations using it with a DA vs by hand. Has anyone tried the New and Improved ScratchX (now available at Walmart) with a DA and have any comments about it, what speed setting did you use? I need to re-stock and not sure if I should go with new or old

    Re: New or old ScratchX

I once used scratchX but have never used it after that :P. It was the old formulation and the new formulation is supposed to be better.

Here's a link to the recommended pads and speeds for applyng products with the PC. even though it doesn't include sratchX, I'd go with the speeds from body scrub and D.C.1

    Hope this helps.

Jezroj, the newer version of Scratch-X should work just like the old one, aside from the fact that is has been reformulated so that it can be used with a D.A. So, I see no reason why you should search for the older formula. I would say that 4.5 should be a good setting for the D.A. Polisher. Hope that's helpful.

I have used the new formula of scratchx. ifound it to be alot easierto use then the old formula. I only used it by hand. However if I find it easier to use by hand it should work great by the pc.

I have used both of them and the only difference is that the new on can be used with the DA.
