I just got a G100 for xmas and I can't wait to try it out.

One question remaining for me after reading a lot on the forum and asking quite a few questions is:

How do you finish the small areas while polishing with the G100. By that I mean, how do you polish door pillars, around washer squirters, etc. All of the small areas you either tape off or avoid with the polisher.

Do you do tape the entire car, polish with #80 (for example), remove the tape, do all of the small areas by hand with #80, retape, and wax with G100......

or

Do you tape the entire car, polish, wax, remove tape, go back and polish small areas with #80 and then wax small areas?

I'm looking for the best overall process.

I hit the small areas with ScratchX by hand first and then i tape and polish.
