Can a DA polisher cause swirls/spiderwebs? Found some, but I'm thinking it was done by the dealer not my DA. What type of pattern would a DA leave (if any)? I only use foam pads and nothing harsh.

Well, it does depend. If you can see a definite swirl pattern, then it probably was the dealer.
A PC can put it marring if you were to use a cutting pad, or aggressive products.
