Questions about my random orbit

Ok, my parents got me some vector waxxpro random orbit polisher (vec266). http://www.saleshound.com/saleshound...ailerID=-99798

My question is, has anyone ever used this? Is it safe to use? Also, are there any meguiars pads I should buy to use it? I wanna at least use the right stuff on my car if I use this. I've never had one before so i'm not too educated in this topic. Thanks for the help.

those are okay to apply & remove waxes, but won't do any paint correction as they don't have enough power. if you can... get a G100/PC!

do u think it can remove swirls good? also i don't see meguiars 10" pads, so should i buy an 8" backing plate and 8" pads or something?

This orbital will not remove swirls, it would be good to wax with but is not efficient enough to remove paint defects.
