Hi there all. Merry Christmas. I don't know what does this term means. Can anyone help me out. They said that the paint is blow ins & fade outs. What it means by this term....? Does fade outs means oxidations?
Pretty sure this has to do with the appearance results from mistakes made when spraying metallic paints.
If you change the angel of the gun, or bring the gun into close or out to far relative to the path of travel and angle the gun has been held when making a pass over a section, you will change the way the flake lays down and this will show up later after the paint has cured.
Could be wrong, just a guess, plus we've seen this and worked on this on cars in the past. (Which we would have had a camera at the time)

Oh didn't thought it was that bad. Coz like that, I think my car has this kind of defect. Any way to remove this kind of defect? Or I think it needs a respray? Thanks Mike.

Well language differences make a big differences!
It could be they're talking about oxidation of clear coat failure, first question is this, was your car repainted? If so does it have a metallic flake in it?
If it's factory paint, and it's clear coated, then we're probably talking about clear coat failure. Can you take a picture and capture the defect you're talking about?

Thanks Mike. Yup the panel has been repainted. And it's clear coated & yes it does have metallic flakes. I'm sorry for the language difference. I'll take a picture then & let you have a look. Thanks & Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
