I do my applicator pads, foam and MF, by hand with Dawn.

I just wash the applicator pads in the washing machine and dry them normally. They're relatively inexpensive so it's not a big issue if putting them through the washing machine lessens their life.

I don't wash them by hand, I soak them in a bucket of hot water and dish washing detergent. Then I put them into the washing machine, using hot water and 2 final rinses.

As for drying them, you can do as others here do and put them into a dryer. I prefer to hang them out in the shade to air dry, the temps here are 30 c - 35 c so it doesn't take long for them to dry.
