What tape it that?

Hello everyone, I see a lot here use a blue tape to mask different parts of their cars. I was wondering what that tape it called? I know its painters tape but is there a brand name?
I would like to get some but I don't want to get the wrong type.

It's 3M Scotch brand.

No problem. I tried to post a photo, but I can't get into the gallery. It works great. I use the green stuff for on plastic trim. The blue doesn't stick the best on rough plastic. It's made by 3M also.

Graeme if you can't get it where you are, if you want me to I can pick up a few rolls and send them with your WMs. I think they are about 2-3 USD.

Honestly I have found that the green tape (available at paint and body supply stores) works far better than the blue tape.

The problem with some tapes is the adhesiveness. If it is too adhesive then you can remove paint from your surfices. Mitre 10 in australia carries the 3M brand and can order in the low adhesive tape if they don't have them in stock or you can go to any house paint shop and ask them for tape to go on delicate surfaces which is even less adhesive then the 3M stuff.

I got some from Bunnings its green 3M for delicate surfaces.
