  • Is it possible to use too much soap?

I never take much care when I'm mixing up my soap and water in the bucket. I just dump what looks to be the right amount in the bucket. I'm sure I always use more than specified.

Does it really matter if there is too much? What affects are there?

    Thanks.
It's only weird because it's not normal

    No problems really.

I guess way way way to much soap might not wash clean as easily, but other than that....

It might shorten the life of your LSP.

LSP? That comes later in the process, with washing being the first. Are you talking about previously applied LSP?

I just noticed you're in Milwaukee. I'm in Brookfield. Small world.

I haven't seen a thread yet but I want to do the google "where are you" thing for members.

I was refering to the previously applied LSP. Too strong a detergent may shorten it's life.

I recently moved out to the Town of Mukwonago, near North Prairie.

I guess that would happen with a non Ph balanced car wash soap, like dishwashing detergents or similar...

I do agree with the LSP product deterioration, and would add that there's no real problem, except that you'll see how annoying is trying to remove all that heavy soap residue
