  • #80 by hand?

Saw the meguiars video on the final polishing. To my suprise the guy is using speed glaze by hand. Is this the same as DC2? and would putting DC1 clean #80 out. I was planning to put Dc1 and Dc2 after polishing by machine, but i dont know whether it's better or not or would it kill the synthetic polymer in #80. Can someone tell me which is best.

    TIA.

M80 could be considered as a combination of DC1 and DC2, but still works better on defect removal, so that could save you some money.

another think to consider is that M80's protection works great in UNCURED finishes (repainted cars with less than 30 days of paint curing), so if you're working in a cured finish, then use whatever you like the most and top it off with a good wax like GC or NXT or M16 (hard to find and can use 3M's showcar paste wax. just be sure to apply a THIN coat)

i get the idea nw. thanks for the info. for the topping, i usually use 21 and top it up with NXT mix with NXT spray wax. i dont know, but with the booster wax it looks more darker and wetter to me.
