Re: Question about #66 Quick Detailer...
It containts diminishing abrasives so it is designed to remove any light swirls and imperfections from the paint.
But the wax will tend to settle into the low points of the paint, filling them in, so any swirls left behind could be less noticeable as well. But most waxes will do that.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Question about #66 Quick Detailer...
Any quality wax fills, because any quality wax coats over. If the wax you're using doesn't leave a barrier-film behind on the surface than it's leaving nothing behind to protect the paint, in that same train of thought, if a wax, or paint protectant by any other name does in face leave a barrier-film or coating behind on the surface, then at some level it's filling.
Does that make sense?
The goal of a cleaner/wax is to remove the defect as best as the product is able to and then leave behind a coating of protection. How well a product like M66 removes a defects is influenced by a number of factors like,
How is the product applied? If it's applied with a wool pad on a rotary buffer it's going to remove more defects than if it's applied with a soft foam applicator pad by hand because a rotary buffer and wool pad ail my themselves have the ability to remove paint and removing paint is how you remove defects.
Hope this helps Nick...
